13 Days of Halloween, Day 12

Next to the last challenge and I am so sad. Here is my newest entry today's rules are :
Now a "haunting" you will go...
Haunted places, include a Haunted House in your project.

My project is a picture frame with a mostly black and white theme.  the background is an awesome spooky photo from   Mary E. McIntyre and the following link: http://cameracombo.wordpress.com
is the website you should go and check out.   The Simply Betty Images I chose to use are Sally Chibi and Skellington.  I colored them with copics W1,3,5 and 7.  I used the same background to create the home sweet home sentiment.  I also used my cricut and happy hauntings to cut out my haunted house.
I hope you like my take have a super day and come in and check out http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.com/

My image was Wise Brittany I added a camel as my background as it seemed fitting.  I colored the sky blue then used a snowflake stamp to simulate stars.  I then kept my card simple with 1 layer behind her.  I place all on a foil star paper symbolizing the Holy night.
Now I do hope you like her and I'll send you off to

Day 11 SCC challenge

The 13 days of challenges are almost over :( boohoo come check out and join in before the end.
 http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.com/

The new challenge is a "sweet" one.  We are to use the colors of candy corn or caramel apples as inspiration.  My first card (I'm hoping to make another before time runs out) I took this very literal.  I colored Pumpkin carving Alex with my Copic markers.  I stamped an older candy corn stamp multiple times with versa mark then embossed with a black powder.  I then colored the parts of the corn and then embossed again with a clear powder in order to give it a shine.  Hope you like it.

Day 10 Challenge SCC

The new rules at http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.com/ were:

Ghouls, Killers, and Witches on the big screen use any non "Persona" image (for example Morticia Betty, Betty Addams and the like) and make it resemble your favorite Favorite Movie ghoul, ghost, witch, or scary persona

Okay so for my project I went back into my childhood.  For a little background my Mom never let us watch scary movies.  The movie that scared me as a little kid was Witch Mountain.  I know, I know, that's not a scarey movie you say.  I was freaked out by kids that had "powers"  as I got older I liked the movie but this was the extent of my "scary" growing up.

So for my card I used Betty's We Come In Peace Brittany.     I found a photo from the film and added Brittany as the little sister.  Hope you like her.
I colored Brittany with Copics, I also colored the background to make a night sky and lightly stamped some snowflake to be stars in the sky.  I love this quote and decided it went well with Brittany here.

I tried to make a Voodoo looking hat for the top!

13 Days of Halloween, Day 7

Here is my project for the Simply Betty's Challenge at http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.com/

The rules this time were: Grave Digger...create a Graveyard Scene

So I went a little overboard and made a play scene inside an old shoe box.  Every digi here minus Batty Jude are on stands and can be repositioned and moved around.  Here are the SBS images I used.

1. Batty Jude  on the tree inside the box.
2. & 3. Sally Chibi and Skellington dancing the night away!
4. Hooowlloween Miller on top of my crypt!
5. Haunting Hannah flying above our disco ball moon!
6. Verity Vamp  sitting on a headstone having a sip!
7.  Bwains Christian carrying a party bag!
8.  FrankenMillerStein Looking fly in his blues!
9. Devil Rio is keeping everything under control as bouncer :)
10. The 2 headstones with Zombie hands toasting.  These were from Betty Jingle brains.  I took Betty out flipped one then I added extra glasses from the Verity Vamp image.
Whew I covered the box with paper and the background with headstones is from an old MS paper pack.  I added a party banner and a Disco Moon (can't party without one) the Keep out in front was a rub on, and all are colored with Copic Markers.  This was a lot of fun to make so I hope you enjoy looking :)  Lots of Pictures sorry :)

13 Days of Halloween, Day 6

Project 2 a quickie Bookmark Emmy needed a new one as she was using a walmart receipt to keep her page.  MS bat border punch black cardstock some designer paper and Betty Little Munster colored with Copics.

13 Days of Halloween, Day 6

I am having SO much fun with the challenges over at Simply challenged challenges from Simply Betty Stamps!!

Let's get onto the next challenge....Slime and Grime... use lime green and distressing on your projects

Rules Rules gotta have Rules !

1. Create anything at all, just slime it and grime it up!
2. There must be at least 6 entries for the prize.
3. Winner will be determined by popular vote by the DT

4. Must be a new project never posted on any online sites.

Here is my project inspired by my Emmy.  We were looking at what we needed for her Halloween costume and she says "Halloween kinda like Christmas, I get fun presents and hang out with my cousins"  Well that inspired my project.  A scrapbook page using Betty Jingle-Brains and a stocking stuffer list for Halloween:) I hope you like it, now good luck to all who enter and to everyone else, if you have not played along yet give it a try it's loads of FUN!
Jingle Betty is colored with copics.  I tore her out and used YG 03 on the torn edge.  The list is a free printable I use at Christmas I just cut it down punched the end with drippy goo then inked the edges with black and then citrus inks.  The stocking is a paper piecing I did use YG 03 again to create a little depth for the inside and then took black ink to all the edges.  I will try to put up a second project however as my wrist and shoulder are not quite cleared yet we shall see.

Day 4 at SCC project 2

Here is my second project for the Glow challenge at http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.com/
Unlit picture of the Mug

close up of lit

a tea light lit inside mug
I again used Betty Burton available  HERE,  This time however I stamped her onto a very light blue tissue paper.  I again used my copic's to add some color(very lightly as the ink soaks through immediately).  I then cut her out and using a rootbeer barrel shaped mug that had an oval shape in the front I adhered her to that oval.

13 Days of Halloween, Day 4

Whoohooo day 4!!!

All a Glow... add "glow" to your projects... with whatever medium you color with on an image, or actual lighting if you can manage lets get "GLOWING"
What a fun challenge right, so much so that I will be entering 2 projects!  Really they have all been really fun so far and I can't wait for the next challenge to pop up.
So here is my project 1 and it is a bit different.  First I took a clean paint can(smaller size) I took my one and only SBS actual stamp and that is Miss Betty Burton available HERE.    I stamped her right onto the paint can, then colored her with copic's right on the can as well(watch out it is super easy to smear :(.  Then I took my Crop a dile and punched holes all around the image.  Lastly I added a candle and lit it.  Here are the pictures, thank you so much for looking and for all the lovely comments I have so far received.
Unlit what the can looks like.

Tea light candle

larger candle

Larger candle really burning

Of course I am entering in the 13 days of Halloween challenge day 4  I urge you, if your not already to come play along as it is tons of FUN!
