Last day of the 13 days of Halloween Challenge Boohoo

Hi all I hope you had a wonderful and safe Halloween.  Here is my last entry for the challenge over at Betty's .  It is pretty late as this one was difficult as I had 3 kids sick last week.  Chris missed 4 days of school, Kyle 3and a half and Emily 2.  Pretty crazy.  Anyway this one was a TRICK or TREAT challenge.
Rules:     Trick or Treat!
Show us a favorite Trick (technique) or give us a Treat.  Without further ado here is my project.  I decided to make a Halloween Advent Calendar, with a twist ( no numbers)  The idea is that each drawer is filled with either a trick or a treat..... I have squiggly snakes in a drawer, viles of goo, spiders etc... then candy in some drawers.  Some drawers contain little notes like let's go for ice cream or tirck like time to clean your room.  Lots of fun.
Here is the top I decided to use Lil Pumpkin Lilly and Skeleton Oscar Colored with copics.  I added my trick or treat sentiment and a skeleton buddy and embossed some potion stamps to create a full shelf Lily needed more of a treat so on her side I gave her a little flower rosette.

Here is a pic with some drawers open and goodies spilling out.
This is what the little notes look like, not all have skeleton buddies.
One more picture with Emily's glow in the dark skittles ghost holder to show you can sit things on the top shelf.

This was so much work but it was fun work.  I made 9 drawer bases with 9 shelf dividers.  Then made 26 small drawers and 5 larger drawers.  I had to put all the drawer bases together then hand draw the top all before decorating.
Thank you so much to Betty and the awesome DT for all the fun 13 day projects.

So I had a hard time choosing which image to use so I decided to do 3 I have not done before or in a while.
First up, New Year Betty, I just received this clear stamp in the mail so this is the first I have done with her.  I colored her with copics then paper pieced her dress out of gold glitter paper.  I placed her on a New idea book
Next is Valentine Betty I colored with copics created a frame with framelit dies from SU.  Embossed foil paper and added some pearls.  Loove it
 This is Betty wicked sorceress
Last but not least my Daughter decided to add one of her favorite Betty's to the hop as well.  So here is Emily's Harley Betty card.

Hope you liked our contributions, we really do love so many of the Betty's we can't pick just one so these are 4 you have not seen here before.  Here is the complete list so get to hoppin and please leave a little love for all as we have some super talented ladies here.

Now a "haunting" you will go...
Haunted places, include a Haunted House in your project.

My project is a picture frame with a mostly black and white theme.  the background is an awesome spooky photo from   Mary E. McIntyre and the following link: http://cameracombo.wordpress.com
is the website you should go and check out.   The Simply Betty Images I chose to use are Sally Chibi and Skellington.  I colored them with copics W1,3,5 and 7.  I used the same background to create the home sweet home sentiment.  I also used my cricut and happy hauntings to cut out my haunted house.
I hope you like my take have a super day and come in and check out http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.com/

Day 11 SCC challenge

The 13 days of challenges are almost over :( boohoo come check out and join in before the end.
 http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.com/

The new challenge is a "sweet" one.  We are to use the colors of candy corn or caramel apples as inspiration.  My first card (I'm hoping to make another before time runs out) I took this very literal.  I colored Pumpkin carving Alex with my Copic markers.  I stamped an older candy corn stamp multiple times with versa mark then embossed with a black powder.  I then colored the parts of the corn and then embossed again with a clear powder in order to give it a shine.  Hope you like it.

Day 10 Challenge SCC

The new rules at http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.com/ were:

Ghouls, Killers, and Witches on the big screen use any non "Persona" image (for example Morticia Betty, Betty Addams and the like) and make it resemble your favorite Favorite Movie ghoul, ghost, witch, or scary persona

Okay so for my project I went back into my childhood.  For a little background my Mom never let us watch scary movies.  The movie that scared me as a little kid was Witch Mountain.  I know, I know, that's not a scarey movie you say.  I was freaked out by kids that had "powers"  as I got older I liked the movie but this was the extent of my "scary" growing up.

So for my card I used Betty's We Come In Peace Brittany.     I found a photo from the film and added Brittany as the little sister.  Hope you like her.
I colored Brittany with Copics, I also colored the background to make a night sky and lightly stamped some snowflake to be stars in the sky.  I love this quote and decided it went well with Brittany here.

Close up of My heart a flutter Christian

The above flaps opened.  The skull is embossed, the ships log behind him is stamped in tuxedo black. The flower is a piece of velvet that I used the new Tim Holtz distressed markers to color on I am really loving how this marker is white!!!

13 Days of Halloween, Day 7

Here is my project for the Simply Betty's Challenge at http://simplychallengedchallenges.blogspot.com/

The rules this time were: Grave Digger...create a Graveyard Scene

So I went a little overboard and made a play scene inside an old shoe box.  Every digi here minus Batty Jude are on stands and can be repositioned and moved around.  Here are the SBS images I used.

1. Batty Jude  on the tree inside the box.
2. & 3. Sally Chibi and Skellington dancing the night away!
4. Hooowlloween Miller on top of my crypt!
5. Haunting Hannah flying above our disco ball moon!
6. Verity Vamp  sitting on a headstone having a sip!
7.  Bwains Christian carrying a party bag!
8.  FrankenMillerStein Looking fly in his blues!
9. Devil Rio is keeping everything under control as bouncer :)
10. The 2 headstones with Zombie hands toasting.  These were from Betty Jingle brains.  I took Betty out flipped one then I added extra glasses from the Verity Vamp image.
Whew I covered the box with paper and the background with headstones is from an old MS paper pack.  I added a party banner and a Disco Moon (can't party without one) the Keep out in front was a rub on, and all are colored with Copic Markers.  This was a lot of fun to make so I hope you enjoy looking :)  Lots of Pictures sorry :)
