Preview day 5 Red Sistah

 Hi

 Super quick card for this one but still an awesome image.  Colored Betty Red Sistah with my Copics and tried to get a "glo" from the cauldren.  Now you should have reached me by way of Leslie,  if not please head on over to SBS so you can start at the beginning.

I used Mummy london for this one.  I did not make the lamp just refurbished it with London and some beads.  O and my gauze wrapping :)

The rules Day #3 Where's my Mummy?
Super simple, use gauze and Wrap up your projects!

 

I used Jude Mummified and Wrapped up Rio.  I have 3 kids and colored these guys to match them(minus the green skin :D) I placed Rio (emmy) in the middle and positioned a Jude on each side so it looks like her older brothers are holding her hands.  Jude with dark hair (kyle) and Blonde Jude (christopher). I wrapped an old fame in crepe paper to look like mummy wrappings and distressed it.  The gauze on this project is a thin layer wrapped around the image itself under the glass.  See below...

Release Day # 3

 Introducing Betty Purple Sistah!  She is a cutie and so I decided to do a layout for my daughter's halloween picture.  Since Emmy loves to sparkle I added silver glitter to the dress and white fine glitter to the lil kitty!  Don't forget that these release Friday where you can purchase your own to play with :)

It was a very busy night for Emmy but she did get this done to share.  Don't you just love the highlights she put in her hair:)

SBS Release day 3

Now I know your all thinking that is not an awesome sexy Simply Betty stamp, and you would be correct it's not, it is the front of my card and when you pull on that little gold ribbon there at the bottom this is what "Pops" out...............

 I do have to admit I had a little too much fun with the pearl ex powder!  Never used it before and really played by putting not only on the background papers, and not sure if you can tell but her dress is purple pearl ex designer fabric :) Colored with Copics the cake was a sticker in my stash.

SBS Release day 2

 Introducing Betty Little Dark Homemaker!!! Isn't she just gorgeous!  So everyday this week I am helping with the release of the new Betty's from SBS.   You should have reached me by way of Leslie

Here is my card.  I love an image that is Versatile and This gorgeous lady sure is.  To show that and since it's breast cancer awareness month I decided to do a card of Hope.  Betty was colored with Copics and I chose to do her in black and white.  The hot pink is actually a Sharpie marker marked with the breast cancer ribbon.  This was a simple card as I really wanted the image and the Hope to take center stage.  Now off you go to Katya to see what she has created.

SBS 2nd challenge of the 13 days of Halloween

Rules:  1. Create anything witchy, a Witches hat, a Cauldron, anything witchy and anything but a card!

And here is my entry.  What witch is complete without her mode of transportation hmmm?  So I have created my very own magic broom.  I took the handle from a regular old household broom, then spent a while drizzling hot glue in wood-like patterns.  I took it outside and spray painted it grey.  The lovely green bristles are thanks to my mothers love of Mt. Dew.  That's right it is recycled 2 liter Mt. Dew bottles on the outside and a pepsi one on the inside.  I added some purple and black ribbon from my stash to the bristles and bottom.  Then decided to use the same ribbon on the top.  I added a velvet ribbon and some chain and feathers  with beads.  Broom done.



Next is my tag I used Witchy Wednesday and colored her with Copic markers and used a stampin up die for the black background hard to see as I took the picture on a black case duh me.  I added glitter brads and viola!
