So Betty has decided to start the peeks of the new release, woohoo!
Here is my Betty Little Munster Lady! I colored her with Copic Markers (
I tell you the more I use these the more I love them!) I used 2 top
note dies behind her and added a little bat from a SU punch. Made the
sentiment and put it under the scrap from one of the top note cut outs.
Then I stamped the spider webs and spider.
I will be entering my card in http://www.thescrapbookingqueen-challenge.blogspot.com/ so pop on over to check her out, and maybe play along.
Emily
decided to join in as well and here is her card. I posted it here so
all can see, I will also post it on Emily's own blog so anyone who wants
can leave her a comment here http://remmyspixiewishes.blogspot.com/
I dedicate this site to the pursuit of papercrafting, be it scrapbooking or cardmaking, artwork or 3-d projects. This is to be my journal of what I will create and share. My goal is to post at least once a week, my wish, is to share my love and enjoyment of my hobby. Welcome to my journey I wish us a pleasant ride.

Just for Corinne
This is a silly card I made for Corinne Jones. I got the inspiration for the facial mask from Louise Mann two very talented ladies I met through the SBS fan page. For my card I colored Morning Betty with Copic's and inked around the edge with with real red. I cut her with a nestabilites circle die. Typed and printed out the sentiment, inked the edges again and used the MS drippy goo border punch. All this is on a black card base, the background is from an older MS paper pad which I again inked in red. The skeleton border is from a $1.00 stamp set. I put both skeletons on one block and stamped repeatedly in a row. Last but not least I gave the middle skeleton a Corinne Hairdo.

Been too long
So it has been way too long since I have posted anything. Last couple of weeks I have been pretty ill off and on and then there is the ending season of 3 kiddo's sports and extra hours at work too! I'm surprised I am still here :)
Anyway I have been trying to get some coloring in and I did decorate a notebook for my baby girl.
This is Athena from Simply Betty Stamps Isn't she just a lovely image. I colored her with copics, the Brains and Beauty are stickers gotta keep it pretty flat and simple. Also we read somewhere that two things Athena was associated with are owls and lily flowers so decided to add them. The owl is a punch from stampin up and the lilies are a wooden stamp. I colored the lillies with copics as well.

Let's go camping Challenge
I chose to do a Halloween wall hanging for this challenge. I used Who's out there Ali from Simply Betty stamps. I also played with the GIMP program. I found a picture of a pumpkin patch in daylight. I added Ali then decided I wanted a more spooky feel so I added fog in the foreground and a moon and darkness to the rest. I also added a little light to her flashlight. Next I printed out the picture and colored Ali with Copic's. The little kitten is a dollar stamp that I got from I think is was JoAnn's. Colored the kitty and pumpkin with copic's also. Next I matted and cut out what was going to be a hanger handle (the black at the top). Oops though I made it to narrow at the bottom edges and while trying to reinforce laid it on a piece of orange cardstock. It struck me as a Vampireish looking head and that's where the rest came in. I added the sentiment ( Protect your Pumpkins that was colored with copics and tucked some eyeballs under the edge.

I sure hope you enjoyed your stay I really had fun creating the cover and starting the first page. I will be posting more of this as there is a page and pocket for each of the 12 months :)
Your next stop is Celina Matthews so get to hoppin and make sure to leave a little love for all the talented peoples along the way please. Here is the list if you get lost.
I decided to use the Addams Family digis. My project is an organizer. I chose "A family affair" for the title because of the wonderful welcome, advice and friendship I have received from all the amazing and talented crafters who frequent Betty's fan page, it really feels like an extended family. I put all the images into my publisher program to create a "family portrait". I then colored the image with pencils, and distressed using Tim Holtz tea dye ink. I matted the image on black card and punched the border with a M.S. punch. The title was printed on silver card cut then punched with another M.S. punch. I added a little line of bling below the title and the dangling bats are a ribbon that is adhered to the back. I used the same silver paper to punch a doily from a S.U. die and sponged the edges with tuxedo black from Memento. I created the flower with an EK punch from the black and silver leftover. The eyes are epoxy stick-ons. I then added a feathered cord to the inside of the rings and some purple, green and black eyeball, ribbons. I will be able to keep cards I make in the pockets, and there are spaces to put birthdays and special occasions on each pocket :)
